These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of (the “service”). By submitting a comparison or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
compares a resume to a job description and returns alignment signals such as overlap, gaps, confidence metrics, and findings. The service is compare-only: it does not sync portfolios, rewrite resumes, or guarantee hiring outcomes.
Not professional advice
Output from the service is informational only. It is not legal, career, HR, or employment advice. You are responsible for how you use the results and for any decisions you make about job applications.
Your content and responsibilities
You represent that:
- You have the right to upload the resume and job description content you submit
- Your submissions do not violate applicable law or third-party rights
- You will not upload malware, unlawful content, or content you are not authorized to share
You retain ownership of your uploads. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the comparison service, including transmitting portions to subprocessors such as OpenAI as described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated means to overload the service without permission
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service except where permitted by law
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. Semantic matching depends on third-party APIs and configuration; comparisons may fail when those dependencies are unavailable.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the service operator from claims arising out of your uploads, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may restrict or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service. You may stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where prohibited by law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
